About the Author

Kathleen McCue is a Child Life Specialist  with more than thirty years experience devoted to the mental health of children facing medical situations. She is the author of How to Help Children Through a Parent's Serious Illness and serves as the Director of Children's Programming at The Gathering Place, a well-respected cancer support center in Northeast Ohio.
